About Us

Hello and welcome to The Rustic Nest! My name is Niki and I'm the face behind the signs! I work together with my husband to create quality custom wooden signs for your home. My husband has proudly served our country in the US Air Force for over 20 years and we have called 6 different states home including both Alaska and Hawaii!! We have 3 kids who keep our life....interesting. I began my stay-at-home mom career in 2009 when we were transferred to Hawaii. In 2012 we moved to Delaware and I began giving vintage windows as wedding gifts for friends and family which then turned into signs! I can't tell you how many times I heard "you should make that and sell it". One day I went for it and here I am with my very own shop doing what I love.
